Well here is an update for all the people who have sent their thoughts and prayers. Our daughter is out of the hospital now, she was actually released last Friday. She has to go back for a check on the 31st. She still has an PIC for antibiotics while at home for an infection and that is improving now with her being more mobile at home. We then have to continue to learn about diabetes and get that under control. Our next step is to get her over the infection and back to school then keep a grip on the diabetes. We need a vacation from reality! But before we can do that we have to be sure about how her diabetes is being controlled and sure that her care givers while we escape reality have a grasp on the seriousness. We were looking forward to our trip and being able to party with old and new friends. Please for our sanity, post some reports so we can slip out of reality for a few minutes and think about what we missed the we were going to be there. At this time we dont have a clear picture as to when we can return, but maybe sometime in June.
Sorry for all your troubles but glad things are on the up swing and getting better. Call it your Christmas present that it was caught in time and all will be good. On the other subject... May is always good for escaping from reality. We know, we do it every year. Jamie
Very true...the only problem with my May escape from reality is that it usually takes me until September to find it again!!! Then it is time to escape again!!

Sorry to hear about your troubles with your daughter, but glad to hear things are looking up. Kids are pretty resilient so hang in there.
Things are getting better the pain from the infection is still there but the diabetes is getting controlled better. Sounds like we are doing well with that. She is getting sassy again so we think she is getting better with it all. Thanks again
