Everyone would probably let loose a bit more if they new people wouldn't be recording or taking pictures of them without permission! It's something like common courtesy.
i think you took it the wrong way and ya comments like that are not needed thanks . what im trying to do is use a bit of class about this and not record someone nude .and if i do choose to record people i meet what the hell is wrong with that as long as it's done with respect to them and respect to myself
Nothing at all is wrong with it, perhaps it was more the way u said the initial statement - ie 'how can i record ppl without them taking offence' The simple answer is probably to ask if they mind! If they do mind, its fair to say they will take offence if you then proceed to film them!
beachcomer Beachcomer, I think this has always been a touchy subject, I have been there a bunch and watched people bug out about others taking even random photos and ive also seen where the people will pose and welcome cameras. Occasionally the staff will do games and tell ya when a good photo opp is coming up, Obviously on a vacation you want to take pictures and videos, I guess its just a matter of judging each situation to see if its appropriate.. I do think some people over react to this situation. . I was once trying to take a picture of the ocean and Isla, and a rather Irate gentleman thought I was trying to take a picture of his topless wife on the beach ( 1 of 50) on the beach. . so I dont know what the correct answer is for this question. Good Luck with what ever you choose and have a fun trip
again backs you are spot on i look at this matter realistically.......... (a) people are on vacation (b) people who are on vacation usually take pictures (c) people at temptations like to take their tops off (d) when you combine (a) (b) and (c) - chances are you are going to end up with people on vacation taking pictures of people with their tops off with those givens - if your going to have a difficult time with pictures being taken of your wife or gf - find another resort that better fits your needs - instead of going there and making a complete ASS of yourself because some hard leg actually got a pic of your wife or your gf's nipple the best rob
Rob, I don’t know that I entirely agree with you on this one. One of the reasons that TTR is as popular as it is in our demographic, is the “Nobody Knows You and Nobody Gives a Sh*t” motto. This gives you the feeling that you can go down there, party like a rock star, without your prudish neighbors, family or employers finding out. This is not true anymore. In the last few years, we’ve noticed the increase in unsolicited photography. I got to ask myself, why would a complete stranger want a picture of my wife topless?? Personal pornographic satisfaction? Or (my real fear), the public distribution on the internet?? Not worried? Just read the articles about people getting fired, losing scholarships, or not getting hired due to background checks that show improper pictures on the internet. We had high school kid here that got suspended from school and kicked off the baseball team because a myspace pic of him holding a beer. Now I’m not talking about pics that you or Jamie might take. I’m talking about the loner guys walking around the pool or shooting from the balconies. Geesh. Can’t there be ONE place that we can go and have fun without worrying about it following us home? Don’t believe me? Go to Youtube and search. There is lots of footage that I’m sure that the participants aren’t aware that they’re on the net. There are tons of other searchable picture sites that turnout hundreds of BBG/TTR pics. If we don’t go this year, this would the underlying reason. BBG/TTR used to police the camera usage somewhat. At least during Anything Goes , there was a no camera policy. Done with my rant. I just hate that these paparazzi are ruining TTR for us. Marsh
WELL SAID MARSH! I was amazed on how many videos of Temptations (BBG) were on YouTube! In fact, found a picture on the internet that had my husband in the background. No big deal! But it seems to be getting worse everywhere people taking pictures and videos on cell phones and other devices and posting them on the web! Look how even sending your mate a picture via cell phone gets people in trouble. A wife sent her husband sexual pictures of herself to his cell. He lost his cell at McDonalds and kids found the phone and her pictures. Then the whole situation blew of of control and was a huge mess! It makes me stop and think before I do things!
