Did they upgrade you to the penthouse for free? I think the addition of sending it by snail mail probably sealed the deal with it being stated as "non negotiable". Sometimes the squeaky wheel gets oiled, so I expect to see LL Cool J getting an awesome penthouse suite.
I was going to quickly reply......... " Umm, good luck with that ! " Demands like that will get you nowhere in Mexico !

We got home on the 6th, we had booked the Lush suite and it was not ready. We were upgraded to the master suite, penthouse was not ready yet either. It was our first time at TTR and the room was amazing. There were issues, but all were handled promptly. Example second night we got back to the room after bash and we had no water. It was about 3am, we called the front and they came to move us immediately to the same room in the other tower. 4th day the air went out, called the front and they were there within 10 min and fixed it right away. There is a lot of construction noise (bring ear plugs) if you plan to sleep past 8am. Like stated before, there were issues but small in comparison to how amazing the resort is. In all we had an amazing time and I'm already planning our next trip!
