Lot's Of Showers Expected Next Week.

Rained all day and evening on Tuesday and until about 5pm on Wednesday.
No pool or Bash on Tuesday...entertainment show at Score (Sports Bar) until about 11pm until it dried out enough and most of the crowd headed out to Bash.
Some stayed in hot tub with umbrellas.
Stage was closed for dancing for everyone's safety!
Dried out enough for Bash on Wednesday though.
Special No Bra Club BC on Wednesday was brutal but still a blast.
No snorkle or swim stops.
Dry lunch with some sun.
But all in all, not for the faint of heart!

 

re: Cancun area weather forecasts

This past November we took the kids to a family resort near Playa Del Carmen and mid-trip saw a forecast for 50mm (2in) of rain one day. We thought that'd be fun, warm rain being something we just don't get at home. Then it bumped to 100mm (4in). Holy, that'll be epic we thought. When the amount forecast increased to 150mm (6in), for a single day, we were concerned. Okay, truth be told, I was anticipating lots of wet T-shirts in the restaurants 'cause, you know, hot moms.

The end result ------ there'd been maybe 10mm overnight and we woke to nothing but blue sky. Damn, just another sh!tty day in paradise.

 

Certainly not a quick evening rain. That would suck.

 

One of the best times we had last April was when it rained at Bash. Everyone else cleared out as if they were going to melt but we danced our asses off it was awesome.

 

So the weather was perfectly awesome. The tiniest shower happened once or maybe twice. It felt amazing to be wearing next to nothing and be perfectly comfortable -not too hot or cold!
