scott.. I considered those problems with the van ... but remember.. there on an island where a wierd smoke monster kils people.... I'm willing to let the battery be charged and the tires have air.. *L* We actually learned a few more things about Hugo in this one. 1. we meet his dad 2. we learn that his best friend ran off with the girl he was going to ask out (Starla) 3. His connection to the car his father was going to help him fix up has alot to do with why he needs to get the van running. Mainly I think we see more and more why Hugo is the way he is.... Live for Today should be his motto... his life has sucked for so long and his flashbacks reitterated that fact again for us
I know- I'm nitpicking... I will admit that the show has it's share of allegories and metaphors (ok, they're almost the same thing). Here goes: 1. Sawyer- his struggle is both internal and external, though the external forces in his life are the ones that seem to trouble him the most- like trying to escape and put his past behind him. Thus, the episodes when he is locked in a cage, which just so happens to be outside... 2. Kate- exact same thing as Sawyer- and when they are in the same "cage", it will signify that possibly together, they can solve their combined problems. 3. Jack- his struggle is almost entirely internal, stemming from his marriage and relationship with his father. Thus, he is imprisoned inside the complex, not outside. :?: :?:
You gotta love Hurley !! I hope he finds himself a new girlfriend. And I cracked up when Sawyer was teaching Jin how to say the 3 things evey man should say to a woman....I'm sorry, Those pants don't make your butt look big, etc LOL !
what do you mean "when" hurley won the lottery?.... he won it the day before he quit the chicken place.
oooh... we'll the plane crashed (lost time) Sept 22, 2004. no idea exactly when he won the lottery (there's no date on the ticket).... but it was after he left the asylum
it's starting to get frustrating..*L*... the capture "whatshername" and you think they're going to get some good info... then bam!!!!...... ugh This ep still works into my theory a bit..... I thought that the original Dharma people were still there (they might still be.. he could be lying).... but it looks like Dharma was taken over by this paramilitary/corporate/multinational/supersecret group who are still carrying on the experiments but for some sinister reasons. what do you think?
