It was last April. I would have to wonder about ANY hotel that says stuff has NEVER been missing before. I was pretty amazed at how fast the recovery went in that particular instance.
How awful, the media card must be so precious to you guys. We are the sort of people who normally trust others to do the right thing , but must admit that we will now watch everything much more intensely . Feel so sorry for you xLorraine n Richx
A couple of years ago we lost our camera. I was pretty upset about it there were alot of fun pictures on it. Now, I take a memory card for everyday and an extra camera. Every morning I change the memory card out so that if I do lose my camera again I only lose 1 days worth of pictures instead of a whole vacation and have a back up camera for the rest of the vacation. I know it seems a bit much but we tend to get pretty hammered and and forgetg alot of things. lol

We met some fantastic folks who are sending us their pics of our time there and family has already sent us their pics of the pre-honeymoon phase of the trip. We refused to let it spoil our time. In fact the night after it happened, we spent down at Paty'O's dancing in the rain. Harrogate, eh? I spent a lil while in your neck of the woods. Loved it there and hope to take my bride there someday. Mike/Melissa: Good advice. I think I'll heed it. We usually have a spare (our dive camera) but we decided not to do any diving this trip...
