exactly so given the choices - as it were in a idealistic world - one would naturally assume call 911 and the government would do its job - lmao - instead the reality of the situation is the cop is off eating donuts or giving somebody a f'n ticket for jay walking in a realistic world - i take the damn gun every day and take care of a situation the government could care less about (until after the fact) in any world rubbers are useless as i hate them f^%%$$#@ and would not recommend them even to my daughter
Just so long as these don't show up at the sexy pool everything will be fine... And for the true photo sniper...
I also would feel more comfortable walking the streets not wondering who has a gun on them, but it will never be that way in the U.S. The criminals will always be able to get guns even if they are illegal. Since the police can't be everywhere, it is kind of nice that the criminals aren't the only ones with the guns.
The right to bare arms given to you by the creator? That is just pure crap. The creator gave everyone the right to life, not guns. I'll have to check the bible and see where it says you have the right to keep guns. If you honestly believe that then I'm gobsmacked and shocked. You constitution was made by a goverment, not the creator. Even though my views are opposed to nearly all of you I respect your constitution in every way but it was written by man and not god. As you can tell I don't understand the need but I respect it same as I don't understand the American need to police the world but I amire every militery man that serves his or her country. It's not their fault their being sent to wars that have nothing to do with them.
I really don't want to comment on this anymore, as I can't understand the news to bare arms it's clear the pro gun lobby can't see any other point of view than theirs. I would however love someone to explain it to me while I'm at TTR as I don't have enough knowledge of ur history etc and I have an open enough mind to believe I could be wrong but from what's written and shown on tv I don't see the need to bare arms.
I just wanted to chime in for just a second.. from what i have read in this thread its all about men, taking pictures... i wonder if it was a women taking the pictures would there be the same reaction... i don't think so!!!! my suggestion is if you are afraid of having your picture on the net and every one had a camera, take a picture of the person that is taking the picture of you... they may think twice about it..
I tried that. I asked a group of guys to stand up out of the hot tub and drop their shorts in return for them taking pictures of the naked girl who walked by. They wouldn't pose for my picture but they didn't take any more either. Mike

Why guns bother Canadians This doesn't seem to be going away and I can't resist a good debate. It's in my nature. As one of six children, my family sat around table debating after dinner. It was our primary source of entertainment. So this article explains why I think Canadian have such a strong opinion about firearms. 09-16-1999 - The ABCs of Gun Control : Senator Carl Levin: News Release For those that don't want to bother reading it, it's basically saying that in 1999 there were 354 firearm homicides in Detroit. That same year, in Windsor, Ontario there were 4. Now Windsor is 1000 yards across the river and has population is only a fifth of Detroit's. With the population being equal Detroit's firearm homicides were 18 times that of Windsor's. And we think that number is ridiculously high. I live in a small town in Alberta, outside of Calgary. Two years ago a young man was gunned down on his front porch five doors down the street from us. An Asian gang slaying. 20 or so years ago that was unheard of in Canada. We share a huge border. The biggest in the world. The largest illegal export from Canada to the U.S. is pot, from grow-ops mostly in British Columbia. The largest illegal export from the U.S. into Canada is firearms, that end up in the hands of criminals and gangs. I guess most American's feel very strongly about their right to bear arms. Most Canadian's feel just as strongly about their right to go to a shopping mall or a school without some asshole with access to illegal firearms coming in and shooting everyone.
