and they did it so well, I don't ever remember there being any sort of thread/chat about cameras being an issue ... we didn't go for a couple of years so we don't know why they stopped controlling it. Ah back to the days of the "kissing comp" and "anything goes" then waiting to see the photographer and what weird and wonderful shots he got lol... he had one hell of a job :clappyinghappy:
This thread reminds me of some monster movie where what ever weapon that is used to try and kill the monster doesn't work. How about a wooden stake through the heart.
This is an issue that will continue to be debated because there is no clear policy from Temptation resort. They (Original Resorts - parent company) do have a strict no camera policy at Desire Resorts which results in a very uninhibited environment where most women are comfortable being more risque than they would ever imagine... We had a great time last June at Temptation, but did witness two disturbing camera incidents. 1. Old pervert taking pics with a long telephoto zoom lens from balcony overlooking sexy pool. 2. Creepy single guy who had to reach around a few people to angle his camera so he could take a picture of my wife while she was playing blackjack topless on casino/lingerie night. If having a stricter policy on cameras results in the woman feeling more comfortable and letting loose, I'm behind that 100%. I vote more boobs less cameras...

Why should it be? It isn't at Desire. Most other "European Pools" (topless) have strict no camera policies.
sensitive subject I have been following this post for some time now and I see very valid points made about the subject. I must say in my 6 trips to TTR have never had the experirence go south on me but for those that have I do appreciate why you are upset. We go away to have fun let loose and sometimes do things we dont normally do at home not because its not in us but when at home some things are not as openly acceptable. I think that the memories I have had and the photos of the people I met over the years are the best thing I have to hold on to until the next trip. I have the hidden ones so the kids cant see and the ones I can openly share. I havent had anyone from work or otherwise ever say " You should check this site out I saw a picture of you banging a cactus plant like a champ" I dont mean to poke fun at it but the experience can be a bad one but again very limited in my experience. A camera ban would not solve the problem. The problem lies with indidvidual that may or may not have ill intent or are not socially secure to mix with the crowd .. I hope all people have a good experience at TTR cause its all in what you make of it and I have never had a bad one at TTR. Enjoy and live each day to the fullest as we never know when it will be our last !!!!!
***** ON A SIDENOTE i am getting a 100% seperate SD CARD just our my trip to TTR, when I get home, the card go's in the safe. Wife is in charge of the camera operation for the most parts. Wouldn't want someone (mom, aunt, someone from church or the mommy group) to find the camera when we get home and go through them if i left it behind somewhere. Don't plan on storing them online for the most part.
Cause there are more people that want pics than people who are upstet about having their pic taken!! i dont take many pics but a camera ban makes not sense at all
Rob i don't what this is anymore. I know its getting pretty old very fast, but hey we keep posting in this thread lol
