Yeah it's kinda like the Boy Scout salute but instead of 3 fingers just use 2. Once your group starts using it, it gets easier to watch for. No need to wave it high in the air above your head. Just a gentle back and forth to someone in your group should do the trick. And Ladies, make sure the guys in your group all know the sign. We husbands watched out for all the wives this June and if any of them flashed 2 fingers at us we'd be on the move, no matter whose wife it was. Jeff
Nice trip report, thanks for sharing. It's good that there are less cameras at the sexy pool, but yet Temptation still promotes videos like this one(plenty of cameras at the pool to shoot that): &feature=player_embedded Videos like these are what gets the creepers all jacked up thinking they can take whatever they want while they are there. Thanks for explaining the universal code for help, it is good to know.
Jeff n Jill....... when I'm down at TTR in November I'll pass the creeper signal along to all the CCC friends Joyce and I will be partying with down there...... Being a former Marine I'm all about everyone looking out for each other in a group......
I wonder what year that was made. If it were in the past year, that's disappointing. I actually took a picture of the sign near the sexy pool (as you walk towards the sports pool) that says absolutely no cameras by the sexy pool. I never noticed the sign before. If I saw myself on a video promoted by TTR, I am pretty sure that I would be making things ugly...I go there to get away from people, not to be on a promotion video AND we do not participate in ANYTHING knowing that video's/pictures is a possibility. ~Jill~
That video has been around for a few years now. I remember seeing it shortly after I competed in 2009. As a side bar, the girl dancing on the pole is actually one of the paid entertainers that TTR hires (I believe it is Charlene??) When I competed years ago they actually had her come out to demonstrate what we should do on the pole...as if I could pull off those kind of moves without some serious practice. The sign by the sexy stating that photography is not allowed is pretty new. It was not there in Jan 2011. When we were there in June it was being enforced during the events too. They wouldn't even let photos of the belly flop contest happen.
