You will need your driving licence as well as they are about the only road transport on the island. Take your passport as well. I think they are just infront of the ferry terminal

We rented carts last year at a place just outside the ferry dock. A little advice on what to bring:

driver's license to rent the cart
$20-25 USD per couple CASH (we rented 2 carts for 8 people and I think it was $40 each)
money for flea markets and lunch
    and a camera, of course

Troy & Heather and Vic & Brandy, did I miss anything?

We will all need to go to the turtle sanctuary again this trip. We all need to talk about the water park on the island as well. If we all want to do the water park we will need to book it for the group. It is not open every day, you have to reserve it from the hotel in advance, but that would mean we would have the park all to our selves. It has snorkeling, kayaking, zip lines and more. Just a thought.

Can't wait, this will be a great trip to the island. :aktion033:

We would like to join the group for the trip to Isla Mujeres on the 16th if there's still room. Sounds like a good time.

Hey guys - great points about the different things to do on the isla!! We need to start thinking about what we want to do so we pair up and nobody feels like they will be on their own.

Once we all get in the lobby at 8:00 on the 16th - is everyone okay with walking?

Other things to think about so we pair up accordingly once we arrive there:

Will all of you plan on sharing a golf cart or are some of you walking? How many people to a cart?

Do all of you want to go to Playa Norte to enjoy the beach a bit?

Do all want to go to the turtle sanctuary?

    Do you plan on shopping?
How long do you want to stay on the Isla?
What other things to people do on the Isla?
Are we all going to hit all these places together OR do we want to set up a time for lunch to all meet at the same place (which restaurant - any recommendations?)
