Sometimes on the busiest time periods the hotel gets overbooked. In that instance they will offer rooms at one of their sister resorts to guests for the first night until people checkout the next day. Some people get a chance to spend the night at Desire, a much more expensive but different atmosphere resort (full nudity, a little quieter) while others have to go to the family resort Sea Adventure which has the downside of having children around.

Often you can get free massages or room upgrades by being bumped. Usually this happens on weekends because people are arriving for week long stays as well as the resort being booked with weekend travelers.
