Hi guys and girls, My fiancee and I are looking at TTR to bring in 2023 with 5 nights at a Bash tower ocean view playful experience. We both like to party but also enjoy good food/drink ( vodka for her and scotch for me) and some of the reviews ( esp on g00gle) have left us leery. As first-time guests (non-premier members), will we have access to good drinks and pool/beach access? Seems like you got to be premier members to be treated nice at this place. Any and all thoughts will be very much appreciated.
You absolutely do NOT need to be premier to be "treated nice" at this place. That being said, some people are super picky or just want the option to purchase higher brand alcohol, so they have options such as premier etc. There is plenty of drinks at the regular bars and most people are fine with that. And yes, you still have access to the pool and beach w/o being premier. We've been there 7 times. Never had an issue. Also, you can always pick up a bottle or two of your choice at the duty free shop when you land and take it with you to the hotel.
oh ok. that's good to know since I saw elsewhere on this forum that non-member seating by the pool is almost non-existent and that it's daybeds and premier members. How's the beach at TTR if someone can comment?
Here is what the beach looks like at TTR. And this is typically how many people are on it. It's a bay type beach. Very calm. There isn't always that much seaweed (they clean it up often). Some people just lounge down there, it's a pretty chill area of the resort.
