If you get stopped at customs the first thing they will ask you is 'did you pack your own case?' I feel alot better locking my case, that way no one can tamper with it without it being evident.
especially once you get to cancun............it can take 30 minutes or more sometimes for your luggage to get to you, thats plenty of time for them to get in your bags! Id rather have them locked to prevent that!
it's just not known for great security staff. if that's still the case, you'll enjoy it while bringing 14 girls back per night.

Oh , I thought you were talking about the flight. Yea, I think the things should be locked up when you are away from the room. Cant trust those maids.
