Locks for luggage

    I should clarify something: when I say the baggage handlers, I mean the guys who work for the airlines and the airport, totally separate from the TSA screeners.

    Ok I got 1 combintation lock, and 2 key locks. I opened up the combo lock the way they said, enter my numbers, and closed it. Now I cant get the frikkin thin open.

    No WAAaay am I effing with this thing for my luggage. Im usuing the key locks. Did you guys get the keys too?

    yep, I got the ones with the keys! 3 to be exact, they work perfect.

    TSA combo locks are the way to go. I dont put anything valuable and super important in the suitcases anyway, I carry it with me.

    will keep my stuff locked up while in the hotel....prob not before, just in case

    you certainly wouldn't carry your passport, a laptop, Ipod, bottles of booze, etc with you all over the place. gotta lock it up somewhere, especially at the dos playas

    If I'd be a thief, I'd definitely go for the luggage WITH locks, because I'd expect more valuables in them.

    I would of course never open the bag at the airport, instead just take it, as if it be mine and open it at home.


    So in the end I think it doesn't really matter. I sometimes put locks on my luggage just to prevent that they open accidentally and stuff falls out. :cool:
