I carry two things on my person at all times while traveling thru the airports and on the planes.... my wallet and my passport.

they can lose or steal all my luggage, but with those 2 things I can still party like a rockstar for a week and get back home.

I use zip ties to keep the zipper closed. If someone wants to get into your luggage, any lock you put on it won't slow them down. You can buy a bag of 100 of the 4 inch zip ties at Radio Shack for about $2.50. Then you can put them on and cut them off to your heart's Desire.

I used to do that. The lock really doubles as a privacy measure when you are not flying too. ie when you leave the suitcases at the hotel room. You don't want some curious cleaning staff to go through your stuff and see the assless chaps, a ball gag, pink shirt, and baby diapers in your luggage.
