Bierzwinski worked at The ABC Hospital or Angeles in the DF. My Ped. is Dr. Campos He is at the Americano BEST Pediatrician especially when it comes to having a Team He is the only one in Cancun that works with several Pediatric Specialists He does not play God and will work with other Doctors and WILL send you out of Cancun if he feels that the facility's here are not good enough.
Agree 100% with Dr. Campos, her tooked care of my kids during many years. as for Amerimed it was sold and it does not have the same name / owners or docotrs. I can not recall the new name but will try to check tomorrow.
I just looked at my bill from last week at Amerimed. It's now called "Hospital de las Americas Cancun". www.hospitaldelasamericas.com Now I know that Campos has a great reputation and has been very good to a lot of people, but I personally had a horrible experience with him and could not wait to find another doctor. I found him to be rude to me (he mocked my Spanish and would only talk to Jorge plus he continuously took cel phone calls during our appts), very fast with my baby (not enough attention) and he prescribed a medication to my son that is banned everywhere else in the world because of the infant deaths! I just had to share my experience with you as well, not taking anything away from cunspin and ana who have had positive time with Dr. Campos.
Hospiten I have had excellent service at Hospiten. It's still the highest level hospital in Cancun (which means they have the most in-house capabilities, including lab work, radiology, MRI and CAT), and they meet ISO quality standards. They make it a point to speak English, which is very important to many of us. Also, it's very CLEAN. (If you've been following hospital infection information from the States, you know what I'm talking about.)

I want to recommend a great Cancun veterinarian. Her name is Adriana D'Amiano. Her clinic is called Zoo+cota, which is a clever way to say ZooMascota (mascota being pet in Spanish). Adriana has been helping us with our 9 cats for a long time. But recently she saved the leg of my favorite kitty. The cat had been hit by a car and lots of tissue was destroyed (though no bones were broken amazingly). There was great concern that the cat would lose the leg. But Adriana performed an emergency surgery, in the middle of the night no less, and patched the kitty back together. The cat is not out of the woods yet, but today Adriana examined her and said she's healing very well. Today as we were holding the cat so Adriana could rebandage her I was touched by how gentle and how careful Adriana is. After all my experience with her I would recommend her to anyone. Adriana speaks some English, so if you have some Spanish you should be able to communicate fine with her using both languages.
