Liquor Stores En Route From Airport

Hi guys. Where can I ask our driver to stop en route from airport to TTR to buy good tequila? I really want to buy Codigo tequila.

Walmart is an easy stop. Are you travelling with USA Transfers?

 

Instead of paying extra for the stop maybe they have your brand at the duty free at the airport?

 

Yes, just booked USATransfers. Is there a walmart close to TTR, if so do you know if they have a good selection of top tequila?

 

We usually buy at the airport coming in and going out but finding with the exchange it costs more than at home. We’re from Toronto...Canadian dollar. Argh

 

The duty free store at the airport had a great selection. I'd save the time and just get something there.

 

Any recommendations on tequila brand for a good quality 100% agave tequila? We have had a few really good ones on tequila tastings but can't seem to remember the names!

 

Well that and there is never a good price at airport duty free shop.

 

You can look at the convinience store across the street from hotel. They have an okay liquor selection, but not huge but good enough to have something in the room. May not work if you have your heart on a specific brand.

 

If you run out while there we found out last trip that the Oxxo across the street (a little to the right) has a good selection of tequilas (surprise!) for very reasonable prices. They are behind the counter.
