Temptations offer is legitimate The catch is that before they'll give you the $299 deal, they'll call to screen out people that can't afford to buy into the timeshare. I'm going to Cancun next week, and I just tried it. Since i'm not traveling with my husband, I'm not "qualified" for the offer. I actually already own in the timeshare at Temptations, but I've found that as an owner it costs me more to stay there than to go for one of these $299 offers and just lie about my income, marital status, etc. It's shameful, but I don't see why I should have to pay more to stay there than someone who hasn't given them thousands of dollars. So, heck yeah, i'll lie! lol. Anyway, jump on that deal. It is a great deal if you can put up with the 2 hr sales pitch. They do ply you with the best bloody mary's and/or woowoo's while you listen, so it's not horrible. :icon_rolleyes:
Temptations is a really nice resort. Lots of great food, and a great variety of restaurants and bars. The mixed drinks are delicious, but they do pour a bit weak on the alcohol. It's probably for the best, since most people are at the bars all day. I go every year, and I love it. I'm not a swinger or partier AT ALL, but there are areas for that and areas for people like me. People are friendly, and the bartenders and staff are terrific. You will probably want to buy into it, but with these offers for people that don't own, they don't give you much incentive to buy in and just lose money on every end.
