    Hey all,

I joined Weight Watchers in January and then Curves in May and have lost 26 pounds so far, I still have a long way (about 45 more) to go but I'm finally starting to feel better about myself. This is a great motivational thread.

    Hey Klaw,

I totally love Curves, it's such a fast workout that tones the entire body. I used to hate going to the gym because I would end up doing 30 minutes cardio and then 30 minutes on weights and now I get it all done and over with in half the time. The staff are so great as well, they are constantly checking out your positioning on the equipment and correcting your form.

The only thing that drives me nuts is the music, I go before work and the general age group at that time is 45 to 65 so they always play the same CD, 'let's twist and shout' at 6 am kills me.

I know what you mean about hating to go to the gym before joining Curves. I didn't for just that same reason.

I usually go work out about anywhere from 5-6pm and thankfully most of the people thre are about my age so the music is pretty good.

Lots of todays most popular stuff with a bit of the oldies but still loved by everyone mixed in.

It is definitely the best $28 a month I spend!!!

Congrats again on your success....and don't be a stranger around this thread!!!

Tanya, good for you!!! That's something to be so proud of!

WW is the best out there, I think. Unfortunately, the hours around here aren't the best for me. My hours at work are crazy.

Keep motivated, you're doing a great job!

Ever think of joining WW on line, Terri???

I don't personally know anyone who's done it but I know it's an option.

Thanks Terri, WW is an awesome program, I've tried everything and it's the only one that truly works because you eat real food. I'm lucky because I've joined the at work program, they come to me every Friday otherwise I wouldn't have the time either. You should totally check out the on-line program, there are great message boards and lots of support.

I totally agree with you about WW. I know the program inside and out. I have all of the books, sliders....you name it. I think I will start counting points again. Now if I can just get my butt in gear and excercise!!
