The chinese restaurant we occasionally go to is one of those that hang roast duck on display as well as sides of roast pork, salt chicken, BBQ chicken, etc. Too tempting.
Chinese food isn't a huge Temptation for me. I'm tempted more by italian and mexian food smothered in cheese. So far I've managed to avoid those places. We'll see how I do in 2 weeks in Cancun. Luch today was a 6 inch turkey sub on wheat from Subway and a bad of lightchip. Not sure about dinner but it will definitely include my homemade chicken noodle soup.
OK.....I have not been exercising as much as I should......but I have been really, really good about eating healthy....and limiting sweets, carbs and portion control....and still after 4 weeks I've only lost about 4-5 lbs Yes yes I know it's my own fault not exercising.....just wanted to vent...and cry on someone's shoulder :cry: :cry: :cry:
Denise, 4 or 5 pounds is great!!! Don't beat yourself up over nothing. I know you've been busy at work and they say that the best way to truly modify behavior is to do it in stages. You got the eating healthy part down it sounds so now you can work some exercise in gradually. I'm proud of you!!! I think 4 or 5 punds is great!
That is barely a pound a week and I was just hoping for more .........at my age I guess I was hoping for too much
A pound or 2 a week is considered to be the safe way to lose weight. You're doing great!!!! Give yourself a break.
