PM/email me your address Marissa and I will send you an Aussie-style one!

I've just been for a stroll n the 28C heat  after my lunch of ham salad sarn on multigrain. Had jacket spud with salad last night & small glass of vino - well, it's grapes.... :!:

It's baking hot here now which means I fancy a salad more & more, good.

    That pasta sauce sounds lush.

    That recipe sounds great, apple.

I think I'll make it this weekend..and may even try some whole wheat pasta. Dreamfields is suppose to be quite good.

yes try it karan, if you can find one you like, its actually quite good. catelli also makes a multi grain one which has more taste than the whole wheat

i hope you like the recipe. im very much about ease for cooking esp during the week. who wants to be slaving over a hot stove all evening. save that for weekends and holidays.

    I couldn't agree more...

I got a gift cetificate for cooking school for Christmas and have been scouring the class list for what classes I wnat to atke.

I think I'm settled on Cooking Healthly for One, How to Buy and Prepare Fish, and I still have a third to choose.

I figure learning to cook better can only help in my quest to tone up and lose a few pounds.

    ooooooo good idea karan!

i want to take a cookign class but thought i would want to have somone to do it with me. like a friend.
one of our grocery store chains offers classes and i think i might sign up even alone. they have some good ones like thai which i would love. and are only 30 dollars a class

so we shall see. i have to go thru the course selection again.

Yeah! There's loads of stuff like that out here, a lot of BBQ stuff tbh, but I'll look for a good one at the markets & funky shops - theres loads of funky markets here with cool food stalls.

My flatmates doing a 'how to cook fish' course at the Sydney Fish Market Karan, I would too if I was sticking around, it sounds fab.

I'm going to do these classes by myself.

I guess it would be a bit more fun if a friend was going with me but none are interested...and the one that is wants to do classes on things I really don't care about...and quite frankly don't fit into my new healthy way of eating.

Oh, and snack tonight was some frozen grapes.

Oh I know, there's an Aussie chef who does a show called Fresh and his stuff is LUSH, I shall hunt for a book by him. Will hunt on net actually, I love work

Will also go markets too and drool over foods while book-hunting.
