    I wonder how bad the popcorn without butter at the movies is for us now.

    I remember therewas that whole big thing about it having so much fat in it but I kind of remember them changing how thy made it to make it better for us.

    But is better for us okay or is it still high in fat? Anyone know?

    I have no self control! Went to dinner w/ my son at an Italian/pizza joint. I ordered grilled chicken w/ salad and broccoli...and iced tea. BUT then I had 2 (not just one, but 2!) big warm rolls while waiting for food. WHY do they put the bread on the table?! :mad: My son ate like 5 rolls (he has very little body fat though :roll: ) stuffed shells and a big ole cannoli (yes I took a bite of that as well).

    A good trick is to ask the server NOT to put the bread/rolls on the table.

    That's sometimes hard to do when dining with others but you could try putting the bread basket as far away from you on th table as possible and maybe putting something in front of it to block your view.

    May sound silly but many times if you don't see it you don't crave it.

    Good idea! Didnt think of it this time, and my son def wanted some, but i did do that last week, went to dinner w/ my husband and Donna (KYDonna) when she was in town. With her OK (what choice did she have, hahaha) when the waiter tried to give us bread we asked him to take the evil stuff away!!

    Hi all!

    Here's how my weekend has gone food-wise;

    Fri - BLT wrap and 1 glass of rose wine.
    Sat - cereal, chicken teriyaki sandwich with salad and fresh OJ then pasta with homemade tomato sauce for tea...then got drunk spectaculy and ate a slice of pizza at 2am, oops. At least I danced in a club though, that might've burnt off a few cals!
    Today - multigrain toast, fresh apple juice, HUGE salad consisting of fresh chicken breast, carrot, blob of lite mayo, lettuce, tomato, mushrooms, cucumber, green pepper, red onion - It took me ages to chop it all up but was lush! Am just drinking iced water now after spending the whole day at the beach and burning :roll: and my treat was an ice cream, mmm. Also went for a big walk round the streets and along the beachfront.

    Might make a salad for tomorrows lunch.
