Karan...a $1 a pound sounds great!!! Thanks!!! You made wise choices at dinner tonight...way to go! We went to dinner with our friends....a BBQ place....I had smoked chicken, it had a choice of two of the three sides of beans, slaw, and okra....I chose okra....even though it was fried....better than the slathered in mayo slaw...and I hate beans....and I gave the beans to Kevin to eat. ( :shock: I'll probably regret that later!) The okra wasn't greasy...so I don't think it was too bad. It was yummy though! lol I'll be off to the gym tomorrow morning....they say we are going to get 2-4" of snow tomorrow evening/night....unless it starts a little tonight...which is a possiblity for a small cluster of rain that is a few hours away still, not sure where they will 'hit' tonight.
I've been really busy and not had a chance to post. Good to see I'm not the only one trying to diet & exersise! Way to go everyone :!: I'm not too good with the diet part but I have started to do pilates every second day and have not missed a session yet, nor do I intend to. My goal is to lose inches and not be so concerned about the pounds.
Everyone says that's the best way to go about it. Did my Curves workout today and bought a canister of Curves protien shakes to use as my snacks once daily. I tried one yesterday made with frozen strwberries instead of ice andit was yummy!!! Lunch today was a salad of lettuce, tomatoes, jalepenos, cucumbers, banana peppers and a piece of chopped up lemon grilled chicken. Not sure about dinner... :? Any suggestions?
Grilled fish is always good! We have one of those George Forman- type grills and it works great for fish. Fast too, about five min. George
I love grilled fish. And I have a George Foreman grill too. But I had grilled mahi mahi last night at the Cheesecake Factory. Any other suggestions?? I was thinking a chicken quesadilla (using a wheat tortilla) with low fat cheese, mushrooms, peppers and jalepenos. Salsa on the side of course.
