Okay...so now how do I pledge?

BTW...just did my Curves workout and then had a turkey sandwich on wheat with lettuce, tomato and mustard.

Not sure about dinner tonight. I'm thinking a low fat chicken quesadilla with mushrooms, low fat cheese, and peppers. Plus a small salad.

    Sound good?

I haven't got those exact details yet Karan...I'll let you know. We should have it all figured out by next week. I just wanted to hurry and weigh in since I had already started my 'program'.

I had a turkey wrap again, with mustard and lettuce
Its just too easy for me to fix especially since I just laid all the kiddos down for naptime. I got some white tuna last night at the store...will probably eat a lot of that this weekend, especially if the power goes out with the possible ice storm damages that may happen.

I'm not sure what dinner will be for me...I know last night I did really well because I ate my baked chicken and turnip greens, while I fixed Mexican Chicken Casserole for everyone else....one of my fav dishes...but loaded with fat!

***recipe for future reference or non-dieters reading thread****
    3-4 cooked (boiled chicken breast)
corn tortillas (enough to cover pan bottom/sides)
10 oz shredded cheese (I use colby jack)
    1 can Ro-Tel tomatoes
1 family size can of cream of chicken soup

cook chicken, set aside, save broth you cooked in. Dip tortillas in broth, line your casserole dish. In separate bowl, mix grated cheese, chopped up chicken, and ro-tel. Fill up casserole dish with this mixture. Spread out cream of chicken soup over top of mixture in dish. You won't use the whole can, but I think the regular size can is not enough, so I always get one of the family size cans. Sprinkle with paprika and garnish with jalepeno slices. Bake at 375 for 25 minutes covered, then remove cover for last 5 minutes. MMMMMMmmmm yum!

We'll I said I join in and lose weight. Okay I'm down 2 lbs since New years, 18 lbs to go. Working hard, exercising everyday, and lifting weights alot heavier than ever before(I'm up to 25lb dumbbells on chest and back rows) 20lb on shoulder press, and 2x 25lb on lunges and doing 4-5 set of each with 10 reps. I'm also doing about 200 crunches and oblique crunches daily.I'm eating more protein to keep my new muscle and getting back my definition in my arms I had lost. I'm going to start talking my diet alot more seriously, writing everything down and fine tuning my program because I know right now I don't want to wear a bikini. April is coming fast.

    Good for you, Monique!!!

Tonya, just let me know when I can pledge but so you know I will pledge $1 a pound. is that good enough?

Tonight's dinner will be at Red Lobster. But thankfully they have many LightHouse entrees that are low ionfat and calories and also carbs.

Most likely my choice will be grilled tilapia with steamed broccoli and a salad with red wine fat vinagrette dressing on the side.

I'll let you know for sure when we get back.

    Thnaks, Denise.

Having you support me has really made this easier than it would have otherwise been for me.

    I love fish and chips.

Change of plans for our dinner tonight.

We got to Red Lobster and therewas a 2 hour wait. Anyone who knows my Mom knows she isn't tookeen on waiting at all let alone 2 hous.

So off we went in search of a restaurant without a humungous wait.

Was a bit surprised but we ended up at the Cheesecake Factory with only a 10 minute wait.

I think I did okay....grilled mahi mahi, broccoli and I susbtituted asparagus for potatoes. No dessert.
