Let's lose some weight

    Well, I like food and dieting isn't going to work for me unless what I'm eating is appetizing......and filling.

    I love chicken, salad and salsa so it only makes sense to combine the three.

    yum that does sound good Karan!

    I'll be going to the gym again tonight....gonna start adding the weights this week...not just cardio....which is what I have been doing (basically).

    Kevin will be teaching a 15 straight days of DARE (well 15 school days) and will be off every evening, so he'll be my partner for the heavy stuff. My favorite exercise is squats. Don't ask me why....but it is...it makes me the most sore...but man...its a great feeling!

    my meals weren't anything out of the ordinary today :? ... i had a bowl of rice for lunch and a turkey sandwich for supper. As for the workout :oops: didn't make it to the gym today. The weather here on PEI was pretty crappy, i made it to my sons check-up app with his doctor and then right back home.... but with that said, the evening isn't over yet, i might go do some crunches after. Every little bit counts right

    Carrots! That's the sercet! A hand full of baby carrots equals 34 calories. Two hand fulls and you're full for a while.

    Some of thm look real good. I thinkI'll go shopping tomorrow night and get some of the ingredients and give a few a try.

    Tonight was a Curves night and after a lousy day at work it was nice to just not think about anything. I thought the lousy day might make me not want to go work out but it turned out to have the opposite effect.

    You are right Karan...it always makes me feel better to workout after a lousy day...seem to work out harder sometimes depending on what the situation is!!!

    Last night I had two tortilla wraps for dinner...tortilla (low carb), lettuce, turkey, avocado slice, and mustard (yes I love mustard on everything).

    Breakfast was not so great, two cinnamon rolls (small ones) without any icing...thats what I made the kiddos for breakfast, and they smelled so good...so I made mine without icing :oops:
