I know doesn't sound like the Karan I know either....but imagine her telling me how much time I'll need to spend on the ole treadmill to burn offa glass of wine   Frankly my dear I've got other ideas about burnin off those calories   :!:
I have a client who is a nutritionist. She told me if you're looking ot lose weight you need to limit your intake of potatoes...even baked potatoes. It has something to do with the glycemic index. But, she also told me that if you make a baked potato and wait until it cools down to eat it and add some salsa on the top something changes with the glycemic index and it lowers the baked potatoses number immensely.
Here is a link to a website with more information about the glycemic index. The link to the database of the GI. for foods is on the left of the page. The FAQ has alot of great info too! http://www.glycemicindex.com/ George
Yes, Jen...I'm afraid it's so. GREAT link, George. I book marked it. Thanks...you're always looking out for me.
Went to the gym early today, but as I am not feeling too well (heal body!!! you are going to cancun in 6 short days) I only did 15 minutes on exercise bike and 3 reps on squat machine...it pretty much wore me out. Oh and 20 min in tanning bed I have been doing better at eating breakfast (actual food and not just coffee) and had a yogurt and orange for breakfast today. I know I am not going to see a difference before BBG but at least I am starting and I hope that by May I will feel a bit more comfortable in my body.
I'm not listening...na na na na na na....(fingers stuck in ears)  Actually, I eat my after they have cooled...because I learned that in my nutrition class as well.....and also eat it plain when I am eating better....so, I think I'm okay.
Well - sort of slipped up last night in the fact that went to friends for tea and she had already bought takeaway of sweet and sour chicken and chips!!! Not the most healthy meal - but flippin lush!! Anyway - back on track today - doing well today - yoghurt and blueberries for breakfast, salad for lunch and got wholemeal pasta for tea. The scales are telling me I have lost 2lb this week!!!!!
That reminds me...............a multi vitamin is a good idea when dieting!!! I'll be adding one to my handfull!
