I've managed many 2-week trips in a caravan in Wales or Lancashire in UK with non-stop rain - I've come up with many cool all-weather games that can be easily adapted for an adult nature! Next trip doesn't matter the weather I'll be creating all sorts of fun!
This will be our 9th trip we had 1 that security was being deusch but we still had fun. The next year it was back to the old ways and we love it!
We had a blast last May and been counting down the days till we leave on next Tuesday. So many nice people around.
Lots of hype and no let-down!! Our second trip was better than the first. Met really great people, did some crazy schtick, broke out of our normal comfort zone and had a blast. Now to sell some stuff and get our butts back for our third trip!:xyxthumbs:
We never really worry about security, The groups we hang with usually do some crazy crap. They come by and warn us but we carry on. 34 or 35 trips and haven't been kicked out yet. Theres always next time, party on live life to the fullest.
We are first timers and we're headed home in the morning. I'd say even with the rain it still lived up to all of our expectations and in many ways far exceeded them. Steve!! Did you wish you had your kids at with you when you were at Desire on saturday? See you next year.
Absolutely not... we've had all kinds of minor interruptions (strept throat twice, heat rash, sun burn, etc).. never had a bad trip.. they keep getting better and better.artyhorn:
We went to TTR last Sept for the first time and it was the best vaca ever. We were going to take the kids (17 and 19) to the dominican republic for christmas and missed our flight due to a flat tire. There were no more available flights for days to DR so we booked to cancun. Would have loved to go to TTR but couldn't with the kids so went to oasis cancun. Bunch of 20 somethings (and younger) which the kids loved. I decided to pretend like it was TTR (except for the topless part, well I did go topless but tonya didn't). Anyway, acted crazy, won the gayest straight man contest and was unofficially named the coolest old guy on the resort. So, you bring the party with you and then the people you meet make it that much better. We will be back at TTR again this Sept.
