Last minute Booking!

I find that you have to really price shop about three months out. I am leaving tomorrow for my 9th trip and never paid more than 1900 for 8 nights for both of us with air. We live in Florida so im sure that plays a part as far as airfare goes. Don't forget to take advantage of those credit cards that earn points to use for travel, they can really help.

We did a package through cheaptickets as well. $1400 for 2 people incl air from ATL for 6 nights in Aug. We're not complaining!

We just booked about 1 week ago for July 9-14. 5 nights and airport pickup was about $1900 for both of us before we used any sky miles. Booked this year through Orbitz. Last summer through Delta Vacations. Both times we flew out of Atlanta.

 

That sounds very cheap. The deal I got through orbitz was the cheapest I could find this year.

 

8 nights July 13-21....$2100. Rooms booked through Alpharooms in April at $157 a night. The rest is airfare. Flights out of DFW (Dallas) for this summer are high.

Because I just checked and I can get 7 nights for $1650 for 2 in Oct. Thats cheap and doable.

 

As far as waiting for last minute deals, it appears no adult only resorts go on sale last minute (at least when I have ever checked). You're better off picking your week early and take advantage of the early booking bonus's. I have already booked for Jan 30/15
