Mike/Karen booked at GOV 14-21 April We are headed to GOV for first time to try it out. Three times before to Temptation. Arrive to late for Boobs Cruise on 14 but am booked for 17th (may try and go on the 20th as well). Whats the story on the Oasis cancellation. Did they or your travel agent cancel you? Thx, Mike
Cancelled for many reasons ( in order of importance to me) #1 TTR construction was post-poned ( I was going to GOV to avoid construction and try out a new resort that wanted to improve on TTR theme) #2 numerous bad reports on the food and long line ups for food #3 (last Jan) Resort website not updated to show theme nights and activities , even though switch over was in Dec, slow to implement ( upper management) recent reports are either good or bad, seems to be a lot of inconsistency still , with food still being an issue. They ( hotel staff on this forum) do seem to be serious about making this a good resort. Disclaimer I have not been to GOV, and theses are just my personal reasons. Having a lot of friends at TTR weighed my decision also. Hope this helps
