Some pools have different policies depending on the day of the week as well. You may check because I believe Bare is only topless on certain days. You might try Sapphire as another option.

I just checked the Bare Pool Lounge website...

    Bare Pool Lounge

and it doesn't seem to have a breakdown by day of their "European Style Sunbathing." That name cracks me up... they can't even come right out and say it. Top-Less. I find it amusing, how repressed Americans are about boobs.

We were thinking of getting a couple we know to Vegas as she's never been, but she's a very fun TTR veteran who would do very well there in Vegas generally, and Bare (if it's topless) in particular. The thing about them not being topless on certain days is making me want to cancel the whole thing. It would Major suck to book a Vegas trip, with one of the principal considerations being getting the micro-bikini string bottom on and no top on the ladies... and have them ome over and sy "You'll have to put your tops back on ladies, it's not allowed on whateverdays."

I can get us to Mexico easier than i can get to Vegas, spend about 30% as much and I'm certain to be able to have the topless that she wants. Seems a no-brainer.

We will be in Vegas July 20-23rd. Staying at Mandalay Bay and planning on hitting up Moorea and probably bare. Any other recommendations for dayclubs if we want a more party day? Encore, Taos, Drai’s, Daylight.....any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thank you for different opinions and facts. This helped planning. We love TTR and also LV for different reasons and what is important to some as stated may not be as important to others as we all unique.

Next four days (3 -6 July) we plan visit Moorea, Bare and Sapphire. This is busiest LV summer weekend and weather 100+ and sunshine. I will make Michael assist with me to write our experience next week as I first asked question to start ;) Анжела

Went to Moorea on Monday of this week. Started out a little slow but picked up pretty decent as the afternoon progressed (in my opinion, especially for a Monday). Met some cool, fun people there. Poolside chairs were a $100 minimum and the upper deck or back chairs were %50 min. Don't remember what they wanted for the beds and cabanas. Wouldn't recommend their frozen drinks, just order from the bar. One long jacuzzi pool and a round one in the corner overlook the main pool. Red rubber deck is FREAKING HOT!!!!! Like everywhere on the strip in Vegas, food and drinks are pricey. Overall recommend.

Michael wrote this on plane ride home after 4 great days in Las Vegas . He even took me to the Chippendales show :p!

We hit Moorea Beach (Mandalay Bay) twice, BARE Pool (Mirage) and Sapphire (Strip Club). I made advanced lounge chair reservations for each day which cost is offset by food and beverage minimum spend. Understand that this is a completely different experience than TTR and if overall cost is an important factor in your decision you will be disappointed in the overall value. However, Topless Pool time is just part of the reason we go to LV so we don’t even compare this vacation with TTR.

Moorea Beach - Wednesday, July 3rd: we walked from Caesars arriving around 11:30 to a small line although having a reservation put us closer to front. Reserved at $75 per lounge chair but there are extra fees and gratuity is not included. You can elect to pay a lessor entrance fee (increases over the week/weekend) and sit on the edge of the pool or hang out in the jetted “Hot tub” pool on the upper level by the bar overlooking the seating area and main pool and pay for food and beverage separately. Drinks and food are Las Vegas priced aka expensive. Unlike TTR, the lounge chairs ARE comfortable and having an umbrella was important for us with the 100+ air temp and blazing sunshine. The tarmac is hot as hell. No DJ on this day or during the week and the crowd built up over the course of the day so it was definitely a more laid back atmosphere. We were disappointed in the drink quality and also the food selection (this changed when we visited again on Saturday however). TOPLESS % was 60-70%, mostly couples and the age varied but people were friendly. By later in the day the pool was very crowded but overall facility capacity was 75% or so. Overall, we stayed 5 hours, had a nice relaxing time but left slightly disappointed based on food/beverage quality and lack of energy with no DJ.

BARE Pool – Thursday, July 4th: We arrived at 11:15 and were taken to our reserved lounge chairs pool side (with umbrella) paid around $100 per plus extras which again go towards food/beverage spend. Chairs are very comfortable and sell out. This facility is considerably smaller than Moorea Beach and the “general admission” spots on edge of the pool fill up quickly. The pool itself also fills up quickly as it is very small. Food and drinks were very good. DJ arrived and provided excellent energy. TOPLESS % was 20-30%, mostly couples but a few small groups of younger guys and younger gals. Overall age was slightly lower than Moorea Beach. Later in the day the pool was so packed (seriously there was zero space anywhere) that we ventured to the smaller upper deck area which similar to Moorea has a jetted stand up “Hot tub”, unfortunately this is a VIP section, luckily the General Manager saw our dilemma and quickly gave us VIP bracelets. Had one unfortunate comments situation which I just brushed off with a stare, you know, the drunken “Jesus Christ, look at those fucking real tits!” “Worth the price of admission” etc. I mean I don’t care but be respectful or at least don’t yell that to your buddies when we are standing next to you. Younger crowd = more phones/selfies…security was on top of it (there was a designated photo backdrop available). We had an excellent time and experience. Seemed to have a slightly more upscale feel to it. BARE is advertised Th-M so T-W may NOT be toptional.

Sapphire Pool (strip club) – Friday, July 5th: Opens at Noon, we received free transportation (but after tipping its same as an Uber ride) as we reserved lounge chairs (with umbrella) and paid around $80 per plus extras same as above. Chairs again were comfortable. I don’t know how to really explain this one…it has a lot of potential but falls incredibly short on the overall experience. I think NOT being on the strip or part of a large resort has a negative impact. Waitresses are all topless, young and attractive. Food was excellent, service was great but drinks seemed very weak. A Dancer performs pool side and they rotate. DJ arrived and music was good. As you would guess, mostly crews of younger dudes, some single older creepers but also some very attractive couples / mixed groups. Volleyball in the pool was ridiculous as the young crew of guys don’t know how to just chill without the testosterone flowing…ball was flying around knocking over drinks and hitting unsuspecting loungers. Pool water was cold! The ebb and flow of “crews” made this a weird experience…crowded then empty so NOT the typical lets go to the Toptional Pool and make a day out of it. Unlike Moorea and BARE, you can stand at the bar or go to the restroom without putting back on a top. This ended up being the best part of the day as almost all of the dancers and waitresses interacted with us (well really Anzhela as they were all gushing over her). TOPLESS % (non-staff) 20%. The younger gals don’t yet seem comfortable taking off their tops. There was also an upper VIP level with small pool. Overall a disappointment with untapped potential. We came for the people watching and it wasn’t that great.

Moorea Beach – Saturday, July 5th: Much better experience then on Wednesday and lounge chairs were $100 each. Place was packed, DJ provided energy, TOPLESS % - 80%, different bartenders made for better drinks and our waitress gave us menu change options which elevated our food experience. Pool was ridiculously crowded and cloudy by mid-afternoon. We had an excellent time. FYI, there was a daybed of 8-10 Lifestyle folks next to our chairs

General Comments: If it makes a difference in our opinions, Anzhela and I are older and not Lifestyle and we tend to do our own thing which usually involves dancing and walking around. We don’t chat it up with lots of different people as I am a bit on the quiet side and she has a heavy Russian accent and it is hard for her to understand conversation especially in groups with loud music. Nuisance at Moorea / BARE for gals to cover up to hit bar or restroom. We don’t typically hang out in the pool so having chairs is needed for us and reserving with a food/beverage spend agreement works out well for us based on amount of time we are on site. It’s a shame Caesars Palace shut down the Venus Toptional Pool as Caesars pool complex is our favorite.

No but I’ve asked a lot about it. Apparently there are a lot of guys there because they bring in a porn star every weekend to host and obviously with hopes of checking out the topless women that go. We usually like a more even split women/men instead of a sausage fest.
