Welcome in advance! We live in Vegas but in our opinion, pools are generally way more vanilla than you think they would be for sin city. Best bet if you truly want some a chance for lifestyle fun, is to visit Whispers (off strip lifestyle club and pool party on the weekend). Bare and Mooera are great to be around people who are open to body positivity but it's still tough from a logistical point to make it alllllll the way back to the room should you all decide to have fun. Especially if staying at a hotel on another part of the strip. Its built for conversations, not spontaneity. If that's what you're looking for...awesome! If you're looking for something a bit more spur of the moment, not so great. Have fun!!
Is there a party that weekend? We are up for more than just conversations! moorea vs bare though on a busy weekend??? Which one?
Huge party over Memorial Day for pretty much every part of Las Vegas. Its known as the official kick off for the Summer pool season and everywhere will be packed out. As far as pools? Bare at Mirage will be a much bigger "party" crowd and skew younger. Moorea tends to bill itself as "sophisticated toplessness and atmosphere." But just understand that for you both to strike up a convo with girls or a couple at the pool (in a Non Lifestyle location) will likely result in just flirting. Vegas is really not as crazy as most people think when it comes to that. Lots of tourists that "want" to be bad on their vacation but most have no idea how to be.
We have been to Moorea two times and we really liked it both times. We're open to trying Bare or another place, but we thought the crowds might be alot younger at Bare? Maybe we're wrong, not sure why we think that.... But we're happy with the scene and people at Moorea for sure, and we'll def go back.
Just a heads up, since the Mirage was bought out by Hard Rock, BARE is NO longer a topless pool.......very sad
I just left LV, the closest vibe I ever found there that was remotely close to TTR was at a Lifestyle party held off strip.
I lived in Vegas for 11 years (just left back in December) and this is a pretty accurate description of it. It's not nearly as wild as one might think. For a city that billed itself as "Sin City" from the 80's onward, it's really fairly conservative, especially nowadays.
It has been a few years, but we liked Morrea…it was more of a party than Bare, but I am sure the day of the week would be a factor. Artisan had a theme party one day that might be more of the crown you want.
