My opinion: Excellent food, excellent service, nice Lagoon views, Hotel Zone prices, but worth it. It can be warm in the summer afternoon sun, but this time of year it's perfect.
Diva, I have a review up on the Laguna Grill over on T/A, you'll need to do a search on the forum there. I don't want to post the link or cross post w/o the Mods permission here. Long and short, the highly rated (Fodor's & NYT) Laguna is a worthwhile and memorable experience, I highly recommend a visit. Ramos go rent me a coupe deville, Hey KL, where's that barbecue grill, Head on down afterwards to Margaritaville...
In my opinion, Laguna Grill has one of the most spectacular restaurant interiors I have ever seen. There is lovely tile inlay on the floors and a stream that goes down the center of the floor. The food is nothing short of gourmet. I had a tasty scallop dish and my girlfriend enjoyed her lobster tail, not to forget the desserts were delicious as well. The only thing to remember is that like all lagoon side restaurants, you should plan on wearing mosquito repellant, especially if you plan to eat outdoors. 212eric
We've enjoyed the restaurant many times. We've met Cunspin, the owner a few times as well. Her husband will go fishing alot, and the catch of the day, is truly the catch of the day!!! Can't get any fresher. As Eric said, a beautiful restaurant, with outstanding food. You will enjoy your visit.
