I will take Steven shopping with me and he can help pick things out, but I would not let him shop for me. I always have a hard time finding things that fit right and if it were up to him, the suitcase would be empty except shoes.
I picked out things my hubby would never dream of buying for me as I tend to dress pretty conservative.... He is happy with the sneak peak he has gotten so far, enough to encourage me to buy a 3rd bikini that I need like a hole in my head, that i will only get to wear twice a year, to add to my dozen or so of state side bikini's
Funny. My wife says the same thing. Why would you buy me these things when I only wear them once a year? I (Kyle) love to shop for the evening wear, from places like flirtcatalog, wickedtemptations, etc. and I am told I usually do a good job but I just got my privileges revoked after this purchase... http://public.fotki.com/kmmitchct/my-first-album/categ-3116-1.html I do enjoy wicked weasel bikini shopping too but know it is best to run those by the wife prior to purchase due to the lack of coverage risk with my selections. Although 2 years ago she wanted the tops and bottoms and with this trip she says she needs only the bottoms. Clearly she is coming over to the dark side!

Jeff is fantastic at shopping WITH me...where I can try it on, see if it like it and I usually have to try to have an open mind. He RARELY picks out something terrible. In fact, MOST (90%) of the things he picks works out favorably, for him, me and other people's opinions. However, packing for me without my insight, I couldn't give up that control. I need certain..eh em...things...and I over prepare!! I am THAT person who usually has an extra 1/2 suitcase of things I don't really need. ~Jill~
I love picking out evening wear for Chris for paty-o and bathing but I will say-- take a look and if you like it I will order it. Or let's go shopping for cancun. $400 doller later??? She likes bling too $600 later. What the hell, It's all part of the fun.
My wife is a school teacher. If I didn't buy her clothes thats what she would dress like !!! A SCHOOL TEACHER (and not the sexy kind).Bought all of her bikinis and all of her HO dresses. Mainly INC or Guess from MACYS.
Let your boy have some fun. I have nothing but confidence in Tom's ability to pick something that would look amazing on you. Mind you, you could rock a paper bag, so he really can't go wrong.
