I have a chance to get a good deal on 9 days here starting on February 22nd; reading the TripAdvisor reviews gives me a headache, they are all over the board!

Some saying "stay as far away as possible" and others saying it was a great place ....who to believe?

Bottom line; I am a 38 -year old single Dad with a 15-year old girl on her winter break from school; will we like it?

And, how to avoid/ignore the timeshare "sharks" which I hear are so prevelant around this place and when we step outside?? I don't WANT a timeshare and don't want this hassle on our vacation.

Thanks all, this would be my/our first trip to Mexico, we live near Boston
