    Soft opening price

The ''goodness'' of the price will depend on how many amneties are open/ready .

Yes they should have ''Ocean view '' and ''Ocean front'' ,, clearly distinguished apart .

The member price in 2018 is another story... memory permitting think it was something $267 +/- (again so I was "told"). May 2016 for us was $165, so that will be a big price hike. Wait n see I guess but definitely no more 2 x 10 day TTR vacas / year for us...mind you it already has been 2 years since we have done that.

Unless we have been "upgraded" to a Jacuzzi room we have been lucky for getting ocean front and ground floor around the sexy pool (good enough for ocean view IMO). So I can't complain there.

Stacia & I stayed in those suites, if they are the same ones (I do not think those were part of the scheduled demo, just reno). They are pretty sweet.... (haha get it). The most bad-assery part of those suites is, usually not taken advantage because people don't know in advance so they can plan for it, the absolutely HUGE patio they have. You could easily get 60-80 folks out there, no kidding. You'd just need something for them to ... umm ... do. Oh, and drink. Something for them to drink, which is difficult, as it's quite a way to any of the bars.

We have stayed in them twice. Once on the ground floor which are the ones with the bigger balconies and once on the third floor = smaller balcony but awesome view. These are truly ocean front. However when I compared the discount site price of 337 a night to 375 a night for a luxe tower suite in the new building close to the action on an upper floor with a jacuzzi on the balcony it was an easy decision for us. Worth giving it a shot. And believe me if it isn't worth it I will be on here letting everyone know that the upgraded new rooms are not worth it :) Anyone there on the 15th or 16th is welcome to stop by and check it out.

I've been looking on Orbitz, and they don't list the rooms with quite the same names.

A lot of sites have spread sheets ( garden view .ocean view ,ocean front/ suite ,, ect ) that are not interchangeable , they use the same sheet for all resorts and they just use the most similar description .
Lately they have been getting a lot better as technology progresses .

ie ,,, Garden view , may be called Standard room on a lot of sites
