Kids - deal breaker?

A girl mate of mine likes another friend of mine who has a kid from a previous relationship. She's unsure whether to persue things though as a result. So my question is whether someone you like having a kid would be a deal breaker for you?

 

I THINK you need to add a "DEPENDS" option..I think that every is situation specific..Well for m anyways

If the parents had a bad relationship I would be very wary of being with him. I don't wanna get caught in the middle..

However if they get a long well, and I like the kid sure why not..
