Vodka, is my drink of choice. They have lots of flavors. Also, there isn't hardly any carbs in spiced rum, so take some Captain Morgan, and mix in the orange, and pineapple mixes, and it taste just like a Malibu and Pineapple.
We do like y'all above. Trying to stay really Keto is a home thing, not so much a vacation thing. And we use the Hack of Stacia's exogenous ketone supp.
Finding Keto friendly food at TTR if easy, especially on the buffets. Actually eating Keto there is a bit harder because there are so many tempting treats just sitting there waiting to be devoured! I guess they call it Temptation for more than just the obvious reason! I usually just give in to whatever temptations I encounter while there!
The good thing is once you become fat-adapted you bounce back quick. We were just there 4 nights, ate pretty good, drank so-so. Got back Thurs ate dinner and I was able to fast for about 19 hours till Fri afternoon without real hunger.
Vodka, water, lime during day. Don Julio blanco shots at night followed by half bottle of water. Works great!!!
We have been doing for a year now and included a 10 day stay at TTR. The wife actually lost a couple pounds while we were there. The treats are the hardest to stay away from. Otherwise it was pretty easy to avoid the carbs. For drinks was vodka soda water or vodka splash of sprite and water. Only down fall with the water is many trips out of the pool to the washroom!!!!
Thanks for all the helpful tips! I think I’ll try to generally avoid carbs, but not be crazy strict. We are on vacation after all! The hardest for me will be skipping (or limiting) the Bash French fried.
its hard to believe no one has put out a perverted comment yet on this one... and wild1s has even responded (but it was PG)
I was just thinking the same exact thing and then I read your post! I assume great minds think alike. or it is just perverted minds think alike, well at least two of them
