I dont think 2005 is THAT out of date and thats probably quite accurate.... Jasons claim of more than Country and Rock together was very BOLD lol I didnt think it sold more than rock and to be fair doesn't look that much more than country either
I saw this on CNN about a month ago! Was a good 10 minute long report how rap is bigger than both, and SELLS more than both! CD's, ringtones, ect...................................... And lil wayne IS the best rapper alive!! I have 12th row for this concert here in september!! NO ONE can hold a candle to him, he flows off the top of the head, he doesnt have to write his sh*t like all the other fake ass rappers!!! Why you think EVERYONE and their mother is putting lil wayne on their albums, he is the best!
There was a time Kanye was on everything too, oh and I remember when Justin timberlake was on everything and hes no way the best singer out there.... I guess its opinion and for me lil wayne is OK nothing more.... theres better out there.... T.I is far better as is Yung Joc
T.I. is my second favorite out there right now!! But he is really "commercialized" now, trying to be to "popular" while Lil Wayne just makes good music.
