my only thought would be that you are empowering the lies you were taught when you believe them and allow them to control you. By wanting you to remove your top your husband is telling you that he doesnt believe these horrible things about you that your mother said. You are of course free to do as you wish ...but i would encorage you to tell your mother to fuck off and one way to do that is to listen to your husbands view of your body rather than hers. Take the top off and free yourself both physically and emotionally.
Good motto. I need to live by that. Since I was 16, I have been losing the pigment in my skin and am very self conscious.... especially wearing a bikini! I know I get tons of stares and such (Oh... she's getting the the pool.... can I catch it... type of stares...). I guess I just shouldn't care, but... sometimes it's hard. Going to try your motto in April this year and just not worry about it. :aktion033:

Having just returned, I would say the majority of women were topless. I was definitely in the minority with my top on but that is my comfort level. On the other hand, I wear a thong comfortably and noticed the majority of women in full back bottoms. To each their own. Who knows, your top may come off after a day of drinking, sun and fun. And if it doesn't, it does not mean you are not fun because I know I am fun even with my top securely double tied. :icon_wink:
