Hey Karen, I'm sorry to see your disappointment. You've embodied everything I love about TTR, and you've been nothing but classy and awesome all the way through.

I think you're making the right choice to make a mental break and get back to your regularly scheduled life...but we've all seen how this Miss T voting thing works. You could still win it. Of course, so could one of the girls with one vote...! Hang in there and take care of yourself.

Hey Laura. Thank you for your sweet message, and your support during the contest. We've both suffered through disappointments with the Miss T contest, haven't we ?

As for coming from 400+ votes behind to win, not too likely lol! There's no reason for Sam to lose votes, as she has a pool of 8000 autoworkers to pull legitimate votes from. Kristen's and Marian's votes are suspicious given that they were all posted in huge chunks, but I am 225 votes behind Kristen and she is not going to lose that many votes. I would not rule out a sneak attack vote deluge this weekend by one of the contestants who has not been participating to date. Hopefully Sam intends to add more votes from Toyota to protect her lead. The vote tallies have barely moved for 2 days now.

The difficulty with online voting is that you need people to post multiple votes to really make headway. And it's hard to convince people to take the time to do that when they have never met you, especially with the Miss T site crashing twice, the original site address (that I told everyone to go to) then rerouting to a dead end, votes getting lost in cyberspace, and difficulties getting the site to accept voting codes. I totally understand why people can't be bothered or give up after struggling to post the first vote. If you have the opportunity to appeal to people face to face like Sam and Robin have done at the Toyota plants, they are much more likely to vote, in my experience.

All you can do is give it your best shot with the knowledge that you have very little control over what happens.

Happy Friday Cancuncare ! OMG I'm so happy to make it to the end of this VERY busy week at work. One more super-busy week, then things go back to a more usual pace and I can focus on Cancun!

Sam added 140 votes overnight to cushion her lead -- she's at 1006 votes now. No one else has moved.
