I've never been asked.. I mean they know me now.. But no. And I haven't booked a trip via phone in forever. Doesn't ask your age via their website either...
so ya its on your passport and I'm not questioning that they possible enforce it at the hotel . The original question was "HOW ARE PEOPLE WHO HAVE NEVER BEEN, AND DON'T KNOW MUCH ABOUT IT AT ALL, SUPPOSED TO KNOW THIS IS A 21+ HOTEL BY THEIR WEBSITE. " I'd love to think people research but they don't. How many people have to talked to at Temptation that say "I had no clue about Cancuncare." My agent just told me it was fun.. Etc.. Hell the people that mostly give bad reviews obviously didn't do their home work.. My thoughts... How can you enforce something you don't clearly state??? Just playing devils advocate.
Is it ignorance if you go straight to the source for the information? Trying to understand what you are trying to say. So travelers should have to go to multiple sources to find out the rules of a hotel? When it should be clearly stated on their own site. A simple FAQ would pretty much clear up any and all age question. No?
Totally agree with you. If I happened to wander on to the resorts page and booked in a hurry (why wouldn't you) and showed up only to be told that you weren't old enough that would suck big time. Sure if you start working into subpages on the site you'll end up seeing the age limit. But they should make sure the first page has it there so there isn't confusion.
