Re: BRICKYARD! Have you been to the 500? Not quite as large of crowd, and good tickets on the street are very available.
Not sure where you have sat for the Brickyard but if you ever go, try to get a seat higher up in the stands or on one of the vistas in the corners. With the cars being low profile and going in excess of 220+ they are extremely hard to see if you are sitting lower in the stands. Much more so than at the Brickyard. Honestly... if it wasn't for the starting grid foldout that you receive with the race program, I wouldn't have a clue who anybody is since they are usually just a blur.
We get the same seats every yr...1st or second row on pit row there's no complaining here! We love it! We do plan on going to different races/different tracks someday :lol:
The cars are waaayyy to fast to see much if you sit down that low for the May race. I have only been to one Brickyard, and several 500's. Definitely a completely different experience. We will get to Indy by mid afternoon on Saturday, so if you decide to come over, stop by on Saturday and have a cold one on us.
Kings Royal Race I go to every year. Sprint Cars, world of outlaws, tony stewart owns the track now, Eldora, Speedway! Its in ohio, doesnt get much better than that race, especially since Tony and several of the drivers show up and hang out, it gets nuts!! www.eldoraspeedway.com
ha, my vip is only in cancun my friend, normal seating at the Kings Royal, we normal head down to the pits and the drivers and such are down there after the race! But by then I am so piss drunk I just want to go back to the camp ground and get some KnD!
