We just got back Saturday and had a great time with no signs of anyone being sick. When leaving Cancun you will fill out a paper declaring if you have any symptoms and the check your temperature through a thermal scan on your forehead. We are both fine and only wish we were still there. It was our first time there and everyone and everything was great. I would rate it a 4 out of 5 with everything. Room was good with no odors like other people have reported. Beach sand was nicer than some of the other resorts in the hotel zone we walked through. Only difference is the color of the water is nicer on the hotel zone. But the water is a lot rougher for swimming. Food at restaurants was very good. Buffet is average but aren't they all??? Drinks are good and they can make anything. Bartendars were awesome and do remember what you are drinking. Pool games are a blast to watch. Bands at night were fun with dancing. We were nervous to go as well but very glad we did. Think about all the people that live in Mexico and the amount that have gotten sick. Small percentage and not even close to cancun. The only thing this did is take away from everyone talking about the drug wars. Which we heard nothing about down there as well. Have fun and enjoy and don't let anyone make your mind for you.

Glad you had a great time- we were at TTR when the swine flu "outbreak" first hit the news. Sounds like you may become repeaters like alot of us (7x for us) are! Ken and Joyce
How much longer did the temperature thing add on to getting through security to get on the plane when leaving?
