yes...i agree the monorail is over-rated. It takes a long time to get to cause all the stations are located in the very backs of the casinos. Its only good if you wanna go from like mgm to the sahara or the hilton. Its 5 bucks for like a 30 second ride.
sorry didnt see that i must have been posting and u had posted right before i hit submit curv i heard the old vegas is trashy and dirty, e' vero? i want to go to body english but its only open fri and sat, what is this place gamble i heard about is it a casino or club? also if the club have no cover how come i read on vegas.com all the covers for the clubs for the week and there all like 20-30 bucks
E vero se vai dove sono i poveri uomini, che non hanno niente per vivere- if you go outside the main street, then yes, you will hit some not so nice spots - but the same thing can be said about the strip...you can walk like 2 streets down from the strip and you'll see a lot of homeless, ran down places, etc
When walking down the strip, stop by "O'Brians" casino. you can get $1.00 beer there. Also you can take alcohol out from any casino or restaraunt and walk up and down the strip. Actually our favorite place to go partying, "beleive it or not" is at the Carnival Court at Harrah's. It is an outside bar. So much Fun. Live bands, awesome bartenders ("Cocktails" the movie style). Al ot fo beautiful people. Awesome. And you can take your beer out and go to another bar. Look for people on the strip giving away night club passes. You could go to all the Hot clubs for free. That;s what we did. Found a guy on the strip trying to give away club passes. We got in just about all the Fancy clubs for free.

the places will have covers but you shouldnt have to pay any...talk to the concierge at bellagio or any hotel and ask for passes. I cant guarentee that they can give you passes to all the clubs. Another option is tipping one of the guys on the street. You will see them and they will have a huge handful of passes to different clubs. They will ask for a tip. Pure at Caesars Palace is very hot right with celebs and the "in" crowd. I would also reccomend studio 54 at MGM, TAO at the ventitian and Rumjungle at Mandalay Bay. You might also wanna check out the Playboy Club at the Palms. A lot depends on personal preference/music etc.
The casino you speak of is actually called O'Sheas. They have an 18 hour happy hour that runs from 2 am-8 pm.
