We will be back in June 2018... ready for our vacation ....

We went last June 2017 and posted a trip review in Trip Advisor. Here is a paste of it; but remember this trip review is a year old and some changes have been made by Sens since we were there.

Air Conditioner did not work and other problems to overcome.

Went in late June 2017... feeling are a mixed bag, but overall , we had a good time. If U are expecting a 5 or 4 star level of service from the staff, don't. We just made adjustments to their lack of services and carry on with the fun. (ie)

Toilet did not flush , used the ice bucket and filled it with water and pour in the toilet to forced flush.

House keeping did not stock room with water and towels each day. Went to pool and got beach towels and stored them in room for back up. Went to the lobby bar several times a day and collected bottle water to take back to the room.

Air Conditioner did not work , so went to Walmart and purchased a Fan. When we left, we gave it to a guest and asked them to pass it on when he left ..

We would save pool chairs with umbrellas around 8 am each day. Would hit the pool about 11 am. Saw umbrellas moved from saved spaces several times by guests. Not everyone there have class. Ours got taken one day. The umbrellas are limited.

Lots of locals (day passes included) on weekends. There is a lot of biases towards 'Whites' compare to the Hispanics given by Oasis staff. We just dealt with it. If U can speak Spanish, U will get better service. That is Oasis's attitude at the Sens and the Grand - we have been to both several times (of course, this is just my humble opinion.)

The buffet is open for breakfast and dinner. The lunch is spaced out over several restaurants. We would eat at the hippy eatery at the lower pool and the food was great for a quick lunch. The Italian restaurant was great too. All places offer a very limited menu.

3 restaurants required reservations 24 hours in advance and required formal wear. We hit two. Was disappointed by both and ended up at the buffet afterward. To make reservations u have to get to the office at 8 am. Only one person will make the reservation and she shows up around 8 am. There is a list to sign in sometimes, but it is usually the guest who keep the line in order. Takes about a hour to get the reservation for the next day.

Other restaurants require a reservation for dinner that same day around 5 to 6 pm. They only allow about 3 couples per hour for a few hours for dinner. It is sad to see such laziness by their staff. A whole restaurant and only a few people allowed to use it . We asked one day for the restaurant by the back pool if we could eat there. They said they were already full for the night. We sat out there that night and I only saw about 3 couples being served there. Most of the workers just stood around and played on their I-Phones all night. U can use their bar for drinks as long as it is open.

Beach towels are also stored by the coffee shop going to the back pool, so it is easy to collect some for the room.

WiFi is limited and not very good. We could only get it in the lobby and only early in the morning.

The beach is cool. The pools are fun. The games and hosts are not great but they do try hard, but it is what it is.
If U go hunger , it is your own fault.
Most of their places will not allow food to be taken out. We tried several times and was told it is the policy of the resort.
U can order room service, but it cost extra.

Hope U enjoy your visit . We did. Just be able to deal with the little things and it should work out....

Thanks for the review. We were there last June also and going again in June. We go to Cancun every year and have stayed at really nice and expensive places. I can put up with some of the issues and for the price can afford to twice. I agree pools and the beach are awesome and so relaxing. That's why we go
