Wow! You had to create a second profile(which Steve can easily find out if that's true or not) to post what you posted? Well that is enough to end this discussion...

The reason I created a 2nd profile was that two of the cpls in our friend list where kind enough to reply to us honestly about some of their exps at the resort. Some where public replys based on some of their TTR trip reports some where through priviate emails. I in no way wanted to get them in the middle of this because I knew that this would create a firestorm. If you really look back at everything I said. At no point did I say that the resort should not let singles in period or that a large percentage of the singles there where a problem. If fact I said just the opposite. What I did say is that there should be rules in place to ensure that people have a fun yet safe vacation. Is that really an extreme request? I would think most people with any common sense would agree with that. I am sorry that if it is just my wife and I and a group of drunk single guys and I have to protect her that my confidence is not very high that the resort security and the nite manager having my back right at that moment. We have been to cpls only resorts and resorts that let singles in, both where lots of fun. I am just stating the obvious of what we saw and others have said on this board and to us in priviate.

the simple truth is you cannot have single guys at a resort like this. The mix of semi nude women, lots of booze, is a volatile mix.
You might be able to get away with limiting the number of single guys and or the size of the single guy groups.
Those are excerpts from your post! You seem to be contradicting yourself now

Fair point, what I am saying is you either have to have some limit on the amount of single guys or the size if single guy groups. If neither of those are an option then if you wanted to create a safer atmosphere then you would have to consider banning single guys (FYI that is not my preference). If you leave things as they are now you will continue to have problems. Even a large percentage of the diehards on here say they have had a problem but it was delt with. What I am saying is the percentage of people having a problem at this resort is very high, even with people on this board. Most say yes, we had a problem, it was dealt with. That seems to be a very common theme. I notice that a lot of people on here ignore the short comings and or security because they have such a great time ( I can understand and appreciate that ). Keep in mind though it only takes one time for something really bad to happen. I noticed also no one touched on that if something did happen and the mexican police are called in the circumstances of how that may go down.

The percentage of people having problems is really high? do a poll on it! They're anonymous. You're wrong there. Dead wrong!!

Doubt many have had problems. We have only been there once but have heard nothing but good things other then a few odd posts we have read here and there. What do you want, security standing around with guns and mace? It's the real world, rude people can be anywhere. Send my wife to any bar in Denver and when she walks to the restroom alone in a crowded bar someone is most likely going to grab her ass. That's what can happen when people have a few drinks. Before we go in a nightclub somewhere should I call and ask what security measure they have in place?

Our 2 cents. 5 trips, only 2 minor issues that never amounted to anything. Pretty good odds that 98% of the problems are 2% of the people. I'll take those odds.

I just wonder, if you had an issue why you didn't alert security or the night manager to see if in fact they would have backed you.. I could understand if after speaking to security and or the night manager and posting we had an issue and they did nothing.. My point here is .. most people that go to TTR know that this resort is in fact singles and couples.. therefor you must assume that the same situations that happen in bars all over the world that allow singles and couples is going to or can happen at TTR.. People (not you specifically but in general) that have issues with there wife, girl friend, husbands, boyfriends getting hit on don't go to these places usually, and if they do and its a real issue other than being hit on..cause that is a real possibility at TTR or any bar.. you should talk to security...you would talk to the bouncer at a bar no? why is it different at ttr... why do people come back from ttr and make statement about a place where 90% of the people that go, go there to drink, flirt, meet people, dress sexy, be topless and lets face it hook up if they can. what do people think sexually charged atmosphere, adult only, sexy pool, singles welcome... mean?
