Just back (kinda long maybe boring)

I think it's a work in progress. As a single guy who has been going since before the change from BBG to TTR I can say that the atmosphere is more sexy now than it was a few years ago. Although I personally see it both in singles groups and in lifestylers.

The best anyone can do is to make sure you are sticking with people you trust and be assertive in protecting your rights. I really hope this thread doesn't turn into "one of those" kettle of fish threads. Everyone deserves to have a great vacation, and we all should be willing to help each other out if we see someone in trouble.

 

To follow up I think the marketed "sexy theme" of the hotel is a double edged sword. both for singles and couples, people feel more willing to cut loose but some just don't know where that line is in those situations.

Interesting thought! I really don't like assumptions either. I've tried to get a few friends to come with me to the resort. Once they start reading and find it is considered (by some) to be a swingers resort, it's a no go.

I wish there were more options for us singles, without kids.

 

One of these summers we just need to find a nice beach campground somewhere and have a singles camp. Married people can come too but they have to put their wedding rings in a lockbox like you would with car keys so they don't drive off drunk!

 

Nooo..no lockbox. Too much like the married -turned -single -in -an -instant at Publix yesterday! How creepy!

Hey Indy, too bad we missed you this year, we had a great time meeting you two last year. We are very much looking forward to our trip and are going to have a great time.
I will be staying close to Janet, and I know that people we have met on here are going to have our back as well.

 

I will be staying close to mine aswell.and haveing to have your friends cover your back at a resort is mind blowing.All we want is to have a nice vacation without dealing with overly agressive drunks.
Thats what I am getting from all this.
Hell Im comeing out of a freakin war zone where I am hyper-vigilant all the time. Im going to TTR so I can try and gear down.
I REALLY hope this is an isolated case,but now Im not leaving Jo alone.

 

Ok people let's not get scared here all of a sudden n make TTR something it isn't. They're are pervs n creeps at every hotel. Some are bound to make it to Temptation every now n then. The stupid name "Temptation" gives too many idiots the wrong impression. And alot of travel agents whom have never even been there have misconceptions about the place. I've been going for years, and i have found it to be a very safe place. I'm sure there are incidents in the cities/towns/communities we all live in. That being said, keep your wits about you. If your gf/wife is pretty drunk or gets drunks very easily, make sure someone u know n trust is around her if u cannot be. I personally like the attitude at Temptation now, but there are always gonna be some deviants anywhere you go. Besides i'ma big guy, but i'd rather have to deal w me the wrath of my gf if you piss her off lol
