Just back (kinda long maybe boring)

Jeff and Deb please copy a post of mine and reply where I was aggressive or made it personal to anyone or anything on this board. I think if you read this entire post you will not find that. On the flip side, I think you will find where several members of this board did just that to me and posted things more personal in nature rather then staying on the subject. I think you will find I never said anyone should feel the way I feel or that somehow my opinion is superior. Just the opposite, I said hey its cool, we can agree to disagree. I even dropped the subject after Canadian Dos posted those cute pics about getting along etc, but some people on here had to keep going and attacking. Like I menntioned please read the entire thread if I did anything more then express my personal views, then I will apologize. Halifax, please also copy what you say are lies not backed up with facts. I again will apologize if I did such. You will not find that though. I simply stated my view concerning a subject manner. You cannot back up your personal feelings on a subject with facts, that is just the way you feel. We are all entitled to our opinion, if you disagree with my opinion I am fine with that. Who am I to say my belief system is right and you are wrong. Canadian Dos, I did at one point, I think in the beginning say they (TTR) has to look at the single guy issue. If you look at most of my posts they stated that more rules need to be in place mainly for the pack of young single guys (which are the ones causing the most serious problems). If the resort looks bad because of incidents that happen at the resort, blame the resort, dont blame the people for reporting what happen. If somone makes up a story to make the resort look bad that is slander and of course not cool. If somone posts something that happen on their trip and it happen, then they have to the right to do so.

 

Halifax,I am a bit confused. When you say you opened a can of worms with not saying what happen, are you talking to me or the person that started this thread? I am not sure who your comment is directed towards.

 

OK, I must have missed it. Did someone post what ACTUALLY happened or is it still the whole "Jersey Shore" version ...Like, We had a SITUATION and it was handled?

Wow! This is still going? CPL4fun - your first post on this thread is not only pointless, but a little ridiculous. You cannot seriously expect the resort to not allow single guys. There is a difference between "immature singles" and "mature singles", and you'll find both anywhere you go. If you cannot handle it, then it's probably not a good idea to go anywhere that serves alcohol. Last year, there was a single guy that got a little too touchy while taking a jello shot of my wife. Big deal. I totally expect it. I don't think that all singles should be banned for it. I guess I'm just trying to say that you're not gonna win in any arguements with your opinion on this subject. Might be best just to let it go.

 

JohnandTiff, I am completly OK with TTR staying that way it is. I was simply stating my opinion. I really do not put much or any thought into the way TTR runs its business, I have better things to do. If I dont like the resort I will just go somewhere else as I am sure others would also. I do disagree with you on this point that somehow TTR could not go couples only and my original post was pointless. Here are a few examples. Couples resorts jamaica(4 of them), grand lido (braco and negril), Sandals (7 i think), Desire. What do all these resorts have in common? They are all very sucessful ( half of these resorts where sold out in January, TTR had openings every week in Jan), and the resorts I mentioned are couples only. So I think the couples only format from a business stance works very well. I am not saying they should change, just saying striclty from a business stance, the couples only business plan works very well. If you would like the facts on this (which some do on this board), go to any of the websites of the resorts mentioned and try to book a room for march,, half have no vacancys (and the ones that do are very limited), just about any room you want is open at TTR for that same time period.
