Just back (kinda long maybe boring)

HELLO... I seen this and just had to respond, we were there over xmas and New Years for 2 wks.. we only had one asshole to deal with and he was MARRIED.. he was a creepy asshole and trying to pimp out his wife... couldn't figure out how many different ways a person can say NO... the guy just wouldn't listen.. he was an ass and creepy... the only thing we could do was walk away.
PS there were alot of single guys there at the time I didn't see or hear of any problems with them.. a creep, pig etc is what he/she is doesn't make any difference if they are married/single or in a relationship. they are what they are..

 

I think we all agree, that jerks come in all sizes, races, single, married. We have been over that. A large percentage of the people at the resort never have or ever will have a major problem. What has been stated on this board is the more serious problems have been with large groups of single guys. That has been stated by several people on this board and others. We never had a major problem when there, minor only. Woodman we are planning a trip back possibly in December with friends, I never said we had a bad time. What lots of others on here have said is TTR needs to get a handle on that situation before something serious does happen, that would only enhance the experience. I notice when people give their personal exps about married guys, it is alway this one married guy. The key difference is a lot of the single guys situations are groups. It is much easier to handle one individual then a group. The other key note is almost every personal exp where somone had problems was taken care of by you or your group .I think TTR's security needs to be a little more proactive in recognizing situations and handling them. Hey Woodman, if you want to have an intelligent conversation, I am game. If you want to be childish and make personal remarks just because somone disagrees with you about a resort in Cancun, then go for it if that makes you feel better. I am only responding to a post by somone else, if you disagree with me I think that is just fine. I am just stating my opinion. I do not feel my opinion is superior to yours or anyone else.

 

In 5 visits we have NEVER had any problems with anybody!
Going back April 30 for visit number 6.

 

We've been 5 times also, I guess we must just pick the times when there are not as many single guys there :huh:, there appears to be alot, but I must be wrong not as many as when others have been there?? anyways as I've said the 5 times we've been there the only problem we've seen and had were with married guys. Who woulda thunk eh!
Just a note, the situations are not going to change our minds, we will keep going back, we love temptations..trying to figure out away to get back there in april. I think no matter where you go when drinking large amount of alcohol is involved people can become assholes. The security at Temptations for what I've witnessed are wonderful, quick and handle situations very well.
If I ever have a problem or situation that either my husband or I cannot or should not handle, I do feel very secure in Temptations Security. And honestly this situation that has been referred about on this thread is not somthing I concern myself with when I think about a trip back. It appears to me for the amount of people going these situations don't happen that often.

 

Can we get back to talking about "bad girls?" Much more fun than an ongoing no-win discussion.

We have been at least five times and partied into the night without ever having a problem. In fact, some have told me the directions to my room a few times when my memory became foggy. We have never had a problem with anyone and my wife is very attractive. Maybe being around 50 solves the problem!

We/(she) has been 'hit on' and after a short conversation about our ideas of just swaying, things are always good. If overt flirting offends someone, another resort might be a better option. If someone is truly bothered there are several bars and a quiet pool (or so I have been told)

We will miss TTR this year as we decided to go to the GP. TTR next year for sure. In a few years I will be retired (at 55) and we will have plenty of time to visit a lot of resorts.

The name sucks. Check.
Groups of single drunk boys can be assholes. Check.
Married men can also be assholes. Check.
Bad girls are strangely hot. Check.
