The Jungle tour is Cancun's "original" tour. It was one of the first tours to operate in Cancun and there is a very good reason why it is still one of the most popular tours today...it is an awesome tour! You will captain your own two-person speedboats and follow your guide through the mangrove channel out to the ocean where you will snorkel on the second largest coral reef in the world. The snorkeling here is amazing. The entire tour lasts about 2 1/2 hours with the snorkeling part being about 45 minutes. When you are done snorkeling your guide will lead you back through the mangrove channel to the marina. All of your gear and bottled water is included. The marina is located at KM 14.5 in the hotel zone (across from the Marriott Hotels). They offer tour times every hour from 9 AM - 4 PM everyday. You'll want to bring a towel, sunglasses, biodegradable sunblock, and a dry t-shirt. There is a reef tax in addition to the tour cost so bring some extra cash for that and to tip the guide.
